The workshop was hosted and supported by the International Academy for Nature Conservation, Isle of Vilm (INA) of the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) in collaboration with the IUCN/WCPA Capacity Development Thematic Group. It brought together conservation professionals, capacity building experts, organisational development specialists and protected area practitioners to consider options, develop recommendations and identify realistic and practical ways for supporting and enabling organisational capacity development within conservation and protected area agencies.
