Description

The review of all the projects showed that ecosystem-based approaches to adaptation and mitigation bring a number of environmental, social and economic benefits in addition to adaptation or mitigation.

The lessons learned from the case studies indicated two key elements of success:
Stakeholder engagement and communication, and monitoring and adaptive management.
